Alexis Primus is from Washington, DC, but attended undergrad in Pittsburgh, PA and grad school in Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL, eventually earning her M.F.A. from DePaul University.

She is very excited to come back to Detroit and engage with Shakespeare and other classical texts fully for the first time.

Most recently, she appeared in the TUTA Theatre production of The Long Christmas Dinner at The Bramble Arts Loft in Chicago, IL.

In addition to being an actor, she is currently, amongst other things, a tour guide for the Architectural Tours on the Chicago River, a teaching artist with Urban Theatre Company, a babysitter, and a lover of Formula 1 Racing.

She believes that theatre and the arts are where transformation can happen, even if temporarily, and is grateful you are here to experience it.
