Elise Kauzlaric is thrilled to be returning to Michigan Shakespeare having previously coached dialects for A Flea in Her Ear, Charley’s Aunt, Henry V, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Killer Angels, The Rivals, The Importance of Being Earnest and Pygmalion. Chicago coaching credits include: Constellations, East of Eden (Steppenwolf TheatreCompany); The Bridges of Madison County (Marriott Theatre); Doubt, Pineapple, Mojo Mickybo, The Seafarer (Irish Theatre of Chicago); The Heart Sellers, Dial M for Murder (Northlight Theatre), A Shayna Maidel, The Audience, My Name is Asher Lev, A Raisin in the Sun (Timeline)...

AND is thrilled to be performing with the Michigan Shakespeare festival for the first time!!! 

Chicago acting credits include King Lear (The Goodman); The Importance of Being Earnest (Oak Park Festival Theatre); Tartuffe (City Lit Theatre); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (First Folio Shakespeare); Neverwhere, Queen Lucia, Miss Buncle’s Book, Strong Poison (Lifeline Theatre); and On the Shore of the Wide World (Griffin Theatre – Supporting Actress Jeff Nomination). She is a member of the artistic ensemble of Lifeline Theatre.

She received her BFA from Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts and MA from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and currently teaches at The Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and The Theatre School at DePaul University.
